Kathleen & Colie | Engaged

A Historic Oak View County Park Engagement Session

Kathleen and Colie had a mission for their engagement session and I was so excited to see it out! Location was a priority for them and they spent time driving around before the day of the session to pick out the best places. So when I talked to Kathleen and we ran through her ideas I knew we were going to set out on an adventure and that is the language I speak! haha

We started our session at Historic Oak View, where each location is more scenic than the last! This made it the perfect place to start the story of their engagement images.

Their story wasn't a hard one to tell either... they would literally get into the pose I was asking of them before I finished my sentence!

Gorgeous and natural

Next, we started heading to our second location but first stopped off to a pasture on the side of the road. Kathleen had told me about them and I loved the idea! Once we got out there you could even see the Raleigh skyline off in the distance. See if you can find it!

Our final stop was to Yates Mill to get a few images with this historic landmark.

And as a side note to Kathleen and Colie...

I found out that our dogs share the same name: Ike!

I have literally never seen another dog with that name and it has got me soo excited.

I absolutely love it!

Until next time, with love!
