A Classic Fall Engagement at Military Park
This was my second engagement session of the day and these two were troopers (a military pun?). What started off as a perfect warm, sunny fall day was quickly getting very cold and windy by the time I got to the park for our shoot.
Coree and Detravius chose Military Park for their classically fall session with tons of leaves and colors to match their November wedding this year. Military Park was also a fitting choice for these two Air Force veterans.
Even though it was bitter cold by the time our session got rolling, we had a fun time and made the best of it! Laughing and joking the whole time, it felt like I've known these guys forever even though this was the very first time I was meeting them!
I mean, c'mon, don't these look like fun people?
The wind was blowing so hard that the leaves were falling like snow.
Then as soon as we got set up to take shots with those falling leaves it stopped!
So I recruited my husband to shake the branches and get the leaves to start falling again.
Turns out that it didn't end well and all his shaking only got a few leaves, but laughing at him made for really great pictures!
What amazing colors! This is exactly why I got married in the fall as well.
